Accelerating the integration of the “Taipei+New Taipei+Taoyuan+Keelung Living Circle” through the TPASS
Launched on July 1, 2023, the TPASS for the Taipei+New Taipei+Taoyuan+Keelung is priced at NT$1,200. It offers unlimited rides within 30 days of activation, covering buses, the MRT, Taiwan Railways, intercity buses, and YouBike public bicycles in the Taipei City, New Taipei City, Taoyuan City, and Keelung City. This initiative encourages people to shift from private vehicles to public transportation, reducing commuting costs and promoting sustainable travel.
Bus services to connect with the Airport MRT and Taiwan Railways stations
To complement the TPASS, bus services are designed to provide seamless connections to the Airport MRT and Taiwan Railways stations. These rail systems, which can carry large volumes of passengers, are supported by buses that operate during peak hours to ease the flow of traffic heading to Taipei and New Taipei. The Taoyuan City Government is proactively providing shuttle buses to help alleviate road congestion in densely populated areas.
