An-Jia Food and Resources Bank and Surplus Food Plan

By providing basic meal care and food relief to vulnerable families, health, looting, and crime and other social security issues caused by hunger or poverty can be eliminated, thereby strengthening social security.

An-Jia Food and Resources Bank

Through the An-Jia Food and Resources Bank which systematically manages private donations, and strictly controls the inventory, quality, logistics and warehousing, and social worker distribution rules, the materials delivery to those in need can be guaranteed. From January to December 2023, there will be a total of 27 An-Jia Food and Resources Bank branches were established to serve 33,783 people and 11,911 disadvantaged households.

Surplus Food Plan

In cooperation with NGOs (New Yonghe Market, Carrefour, and RFI Trading Inc.), they donated premium food resources to 25 Community Care Stations and Little Satellite Care Stations for disadvantaged children in Taoyuan City to provide meal services. To expand the program, a Cherish Food Base is planned to be established at the S12 site of Danan Forest Park in Bade District by first half of 2024, as a storage facility for materials to improve care for disadvantaged elderly and children.

Resources Voucher, Charitable Meal Voucher

NT$ 100 worth of meal vouchers and resources voucher coming in denominations of NT$100, 200 and 500 are issued to the underprivileged families to help them fight hunger. Approx 20,000 vouchers are distributed each year.
