- To take care of the health of elementary and junior high school students, Taoyuan City provides nutritious and safe lunches. Starting from the second semester of the 2022 academic year, free school lunches will be provided for public and private elementary and junior high school students, allowing students to enjoy free lunches on school days and ensuring a secure learning environment.
- With rising prices in recent years, the cost of producing school lunches has increased. In response to the rising prices and to ensure the quality of the meals served, lunch fees will be uniformly increased by NT$3 per meal starting from the 2023 academic year as each school’s current lunch fee, with a maximum subsidy of NT$48 per meal per student.
