Building Public and Private Childcare Centers and Parent-Child Centers
Public caregiving facilities are built to reduce the childcare burden of young families. In the meantime, indoor recreational spaces are available for parents to rest assured to send their children for caregiving, attaining the goal of work assurance and childcare service, thereby creating a friendly caregiving environment.
Through public and private childcare centers, parents are provided with affordable and high-quality childcare environments. In addition, considering that children under 6 years old have less indoor playground, the City has actively built features parent-child centers to provide parents with parent-child care, parenting knowledge and promotion of the concept of child welfare and children's rights. In order to improve the quality of service, experts and scholars are invited to a counseling group who regularly go to the service provider site for counseling, allowing parents to feel at ease and use the center with confidence.
In December 2023, there was 44 public and private childcare centers, and 23 parent-child centers (including 3 mobile parent-child vehicles). The establishment of the following facilities will be assessed gradually, taking into consideration the population demand and other relevant factors.
