Taoyuan City assists remote and non-mountain/non-urban schools in developing teachers’ professionalism and planning individualized and adaptive learning methods for students, while also ensuring fairness, justice, and equal opportunities for students’ learning rights. In 2023, a total of 20 elementary schools in remote areas has engaged in this plan.
Summer Enjoy Learning Pilot Scheme
The schools arrange a 2- to 4-week integrated learning plan to create a learning environment by doing, or arrange indigenous language activity courses to allow students to actively learn local language and experience the beauty of indigenous culture. By activating teaching concepts and methods, students' adaptive development may be guided and learning fun and effectiveness can be increased. In 2023, a total of 26 rural elementary and junior high schools has participated in the scheme.
