Building of Smart Learning Classroom
Since 2016, the "Smart School and Digital Classroom Plan" has been promoted. Smart learning classrooms were established in schools at all levels in Taoyuan City, equipped with large-sized touchscreens, mobile devices, interactive teaching software, and 5G technology for teaching and other hardware equipment. Teaching teams will also be encouraged to participate in competitions and presentations of their achievements, to promote innovative and interactive teaching methods in schools. Currently, Taoyuan City has established a total of 9,174 smart learning classrooms equipped with large-sized touchscreens and the number of mobile devices has reached 78,000.
Setting of Diverse Specialized Classrooms
In addition, Taoyuan City has 61 junior high schools, and each school has a wide range of 1,469 specialized classrooms in physics and chemistry, biology, music, art, art, crafts, home economics, scouting, audio-visual and other diverse subjects based on teaching and characteristic development, providing students with diverse, enriched and specialized learning opportunities.
