To echo the UN’s valuing, investment and empowerment of girls, allowing the deserved human rights and care for girls, Taiwan has announced October 11th each year as the “Taiwan Day of the Girl”.
Hosting Diverse Events to Publicize Girls Equality
Taoyuan City hold series of events in forms with greater diversity and closer to the girls, calling attention to topics related to girls' equality from all walks of life. Through training and sharing, the City will actively implement various services to promote girls' physical and mental health, education, personal safety, and improve traditional etiquette and customs, so as to help Taoyuan girls have the vitality, self-confidence and courage to meet challenges at different stages of life.
