Taiwan Tourist Shuttle
Taoyuan City has 4 "Taiwan Tourist Shuttle" bus routes including Daxi Express Line, Xiaowulai Line, Shimen Reservoir Line and Dongyan Mountain Line, providing transportation services for tourists to highly famous scenic spots in Taoyuan, and promoting sustainable development of the tourism industry development as an important role in low-carbon tourism.
Low-Carbon Accommodations
In order to promote low-carbon tourism, hotel operators are encouraged to implement energy saving and carbon reduction, obtain environmental protection hostel (hotel) certification, encourage passengers to bring their own toilet equipment, reduce the use of disposable equipment, and achieve the goal of waste reduction. As of December 2023, there are 72 eco-friendly hotels (halls) in the city, and the public have saved about 0.567 metric tons of waste in response to their own equipment.
