The Taoyuan Disaster Education Center of Taoyuan Fire Department is a highly experienced center that focuses on smart technology combined with disaster prevention education, with permanent exhibits as the main focus, supplemented by special exhibits that introduce disaster prevention and response concepts including earth science, urban planning, risk assessment, fire science, civil power application, disaster rescue, and emergency care in a simple and in-depth manner.

The Taoyuan Disaster Education Center of Taoyuan Fire Department adopts such idea as its original intention to develop experiences that combines technology, entertainment and education, and provides free tour services for the public across the 5 major exhibition areas including natural disaster, prevention and emergency handling, fire, a safe home, firefighters in the museum. The main highlights include disaster prevention artist, CPR instructions, home safety puzzle game, VR fire-fighting experience, smoke experience room and six-axis earthquake experience platform, etc., so that the public can experience the actual operation and learn the concept of disaster prevention through interaction.
